Call for Submissions

We are accepting entries from New Mexico photographers for albuquerqueARTS' fifth annual photography contest. Entries must be received by May 31 in the
following form:

Up to three (3) entries per photographer

black & white and color accepted

must be digital (CD or email), print quality (at least 1200 pixels
wide) and labeled with the photographer's last name and first initial, followed by title. Example: JonesS-SandiaSunrise

must be accompanied by a VERY short bio and full image titles

May’s cover is a photo of the live, moving image of Felix Wurman’s cello as projected using a posterized eff ect on the back wall of Keller Hall’s stage during the Chatter Chamber Ensemble’s fifth anniversary season (2007/08). Wurman—a member of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra and one of fi ve dedicated virtuosos at the core of Chatter, the contemporary chamber music ensemble featured on page 4—recently founded the Church of Beethoven, where music and poetry are presented on Sunday mornings at the Filling Station at 1024 4th Street SW.
